So you know in my search of all things healthy – I’m gonna let you know what I find. Well – I found this gem of a protein powder.

Ancient Nutrition Bone Broth Protein powder. Now if you  want they have many great products (I just perused their site) and they tout:

Bone Broth Protein™ is paleo friendly, free of common allergens and the ideal protein source for those who are sensitive to dairy, grains, eggs, beef, nuts, seeds and legumes. Carefully crafted quality you can trust and tested to be GMO free, and the best part is you can enjoy it anywhere you go without the need for hours of prep.

IMG_6773I had the chocolate flavor and? wait. I’m getting a head of myself.
So y’all know my allergies and know I am heavy into fitness, things have been lacking. why? Cause I’ve been dragging in my protein intake – well no vegan protein shake had enough “protein”.
So my husband suggested Common Market (AWESOME place) may have some good selections. So one shopping trip my mom and I searched for one. While there we were schooled on the ins and outs of different protein drinks, by a very helpful member of the staff.
Bone broth may sound familiar to you. Well, it did to me so I tried the chocolate travel packet. Of course chocolate.
As you can see it says its Gluten, Dairy and Soy free. Not only those but is free from most IMG_6774common allergens – those just happen to be mine.
After a couple of hours? I feel great and rejuvenated.
I made a huge fruit smoothie and added it – you could taste the chocolate and it wasn’t bad. It was a strong chocolate flavor which I really liked. Stomach wise? It did fill me up but that probably has more to do with amount of fruit I put in my smoothie.
Results?
I will definitely try this again – I will buy the bigger container of course.
