If you follow me on Instagram – and you should cause Im so freaking awesome. You’ll notice on my Insta-stories that I dance a lot. Why do I dance? Well, its not really complicated. But I love to dance – I am horrible at it – but I love to do it.
And also? I spare y’all….I’m usually singing. And it aint purty.
My poor kids and their ear drums.
But lemme tell you – I sang the heck out of Katy Perry’s Roar. I would totally win the Voice.
Did I mention sometimes I hear laughter….stinkin kids don’t know whats good.
Enough goofing. Why do I dance?
Its because I suffer from bipolar disorder and sometimes? I don’t want to. I don’t want to dance, I don’t want to sing. I don’t want to sit up and look at the world. Sometimes I don’t want to do anything but eat.
But I fight that. Why?
I have my reasons.
They are kinda obvious right?
So I dance.
When they are old and talking with their kids, I want them to remember me as silly – as someone who loved to dance. Someone who pushed herself when she didn’t want to.
I want to be brave for my kids.
Thats why I dance.
Starting weight: 315
Current weight: 242
Goal weight: 200 – I’m reaching for it but honestly I’ll be happy with anything below 230
Dietary plans: counting calories and low carb; not eating after dinner, working out on an empty stomach
Workout plan: walking, elliptical trainer, yoga, Insanity Max:30
Reason for: to be healthy and happy and there for my kids
