There are certain days that I am so proud of my husband, where just my heart swells at how gently and caring and giving he is.

I can’t talk about most of those days.

But today?

He was such a freaking Ninja – I can’t hold back:

We went to a “sports store”  in the mall the other day and were completely offended by their choice of music.

We had the kids with us and they were blasting a modern country music song that had that word in it.

I was horrified.

My husband laughed in shock.

We both left in a hurry; not wanting our curious three year old repeating such a horrible phrase – that was being shouted during this MODERN country song.

Granted I live in a southern state now, I should get used to hearing country music. But should I get used to the backwards thinking? Should I just tell my son that sometimes there will be people that hate us for no reason? No!

SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What the crap is up with one – the song even existing and two – the store even playing it?!

The store replied to my husband some lame excuse that they didn’t mean to offend, that a “computer” chooses the music or whatever. I don’t care.

Shenk and Tittle obviously doesn’t care. Well, fine – to be fair to them – I’ll show you their response.

See? Apathy.

I’m just proud of my husband.
